SOUND OF HOPE: POSSUM TROT | Film Threat Reviews
As long as this DEIA stuff exists, entertainment is dead.
The third act isn't "over the top". Ashwatthama is pretty much a god-like figure with superhuman powers as written in the Mahabharata. Obviously his fight sequences would be larger than life.
That "7 foot tall gandalf guy" is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan playing the character of Ashwathama from the epic "MAHABHARAT".
I really hated the scenes where the main guy comes on the screen and I enjoyed every other scenes where the actual plot moves. But my favourite was the "cultural' ones you guys didn't understand. Those gave me goosebumps.
I loved it! Mad max, starwars, elysium, Bible, dune rrr
is it dubbed or subtitled? the trailer just has it in hindi and the regal theater website does not say
93% audience score on RT. Wow.😮😮😮
It is actually from a Puram written 5000 years ago
Thank you guys for reviewing Kalki and other South Asian films. Its funny how Hollywood, despite all its claims about inclusivity and representation being a paramount concern, seldomly sing the praises of South Asian cinema or East Asian cinema. It seems that if its not a Black person being featured then it is not "inclusive".
The boomerang thing is from the video games and it looks fkn great....
Sol bloody well knows its mae, dweebs
The writing holds up.
Theyre breaking it down like it's The DaVinci Code..😂😂😂
Very nit picky.....youre disecting a Disney TV show like its supposed to be Shakespeare 😂....
I liked it
This review was unbelievably biased. Unfairly so. This review was unbearable.
It’s good, but the edit makes it hard to follow, especially in the beginning. Too many storylines spread across locations and the movie doesn’t easily help you keep track if them as other movies of this sort would. Also it doesn’t really go anywhere or culminate in anything; it just stops and then becomes a sizzle reel for the next movie. Frankly, I would have cut the wagon train sequence entirely and saved it for part 2. I really wish this chapter felt complete on its own in some way. I wonder if it was always structured this way or it happened in the edit. Still looking forward to part 2. Would love to watch both back to back.
I am thinking of watching it at a theatre. I could use something new and different.
These India abominations make Michael Bay look like the king of grounded subtlety, nuance and tact.
Typical trash
Gesundheit
A little off topic, but I wanted to take the time to thank you guys for recommending the Indy film "Hundreds of Beavers" on your site. I only wish I had seen it with a theater audience, I would have had a heart attack from laughing so hard. Now THERE's a film that could have sold some merchandise. They could have sold little plush beavers with X'd out eyes, the Holmes and Watson beavers following the story, the giant megabeaver---Forget Smilo-Ren's helmet, I would have paid $100.00 for that coonskin cap. Once again, thank you for bringing this one to my attention.
Mahabharat story is very complex to understand for non Indian people.
Not if you understand it. It's kind of like Homer's Iliad but more straight forward in it's narrative.
@@rommelbengali Straight forward is a stretch. It's more complex and more detailed. It can only be compared to Silmarillion in scope.
This Indian movies are very complex to understand for foreign audience. 😂
The blockbuster Indians movies like RRR, Kalki, Bahubali will run out of its novelty in the west. Once that happens people will realize, most of it is only marginally better than the crap Hollywood movies of today. In my opinion, these Indian movies have a long way to go to be considered comparable to the best of Hollywood.
Jedi are not allowed to kill even in self defence? Why Sol did not kill Smiley ?
I really enjoyed this movie also. I overall do agree that the montage actually did get me excited for the next part. The way it was done felt out of nowhere though and I didn’t initially fully understand if it was a setup for the next chapter or not. Definitely could have been done in a different way to feel better. The way the movie ended just felt weird.
Critics are against it, of course, giving it a 40% on Rotten Tomatoes. It's not woke, and these fucks are trying to torpedo anything that isn't woke. They're truly enemies of good story telling now.
《Flash GoRRRdon: An Extremely Goofy Movie》 ...i can't say it doesn't sound inteRRResting!!! 👽 🖖 🤖
You watched the Christopher Nolan's movie for the atomic bomb right in that I have become death Destroyer of worlds that is taken from the Hindu scripture of Mahabharata that is shown in this movie I'm pretty sure today's audience of American people they wouldn't have found it easy but you remember call segan he and and Robert oppenheimer would have loved this movie because they were highly invested in the Hindu culture even when they were Christians and I went to a church once in America they said that because I am a hindu followers so I am a demonic creatures something and American women now have monopolised yoga but you do not understand and that and Christian fathers an orthodox Jews they say that doing yoga leads to Satan of course the Christian audience is not going to like the Hindu scriptures and all 🤣🤣🤣 so you can go back watching Rock Roxy because I think that Indian women are only going to entice you right now because in America Womens are not left their men right now
SDCC not worth the trouble anymore 🤦♂️ Why would you spend time and money supporting people that hate you and only want you to pay them money while they insult you?
It is made an inner budget of 75 million
Funny part is Costner plays a 28 year old character, old west was rough.
The other language is Hindi
😂😂 brother please recommend it to critical drinker and nerdroticis and see that if they are getting trolled or not you see it is not the problem of Star Wars fans Disney star wars has just gone woke thats why😂😂 the screaming is also because of the Hindu culture related things that are shown in brick big screens for the first time so for the Indian subcontinental people Ramayan is Ramayana and Mahabharata is not just a story for India you see it is practiced also in the Southeastern countries such as Malaysia Thailand Singapore even some parts of South Korea
Sounds a lot like Cloverfield to me
I wish you guys would have watched the Indian movie called "Kill" it's being promoted by Lionsgate. It's very violent with good action.
It feels to me like this series was written backwards. The part about how the witches died should have been revealed early - with possibly one hanging mystery point to be revealed later - so that the character’s motivations would be clear the rest of the way.
What do i think about the helmet? That they were originally planning on selling for a lot more than $100, and they're doing this preorder in hope of selling enough to at least cover manufacturing. If they waiting until 2025, they'd be lucky to sell one.
I can say better than recent Disney Starwars and Rebel moon 😮
The Best Indian Movie ❤
The anthology & frontier setting almost sounds like they brought in open-world/sandbox concept from video games like RDR2. But instead of just trying to make a video game movie, which rarely goes well, they just modified the existing movie formula with a new twist. Combining it with how other films like American Graffiti or Crash (2004) told multiple stories.
[6:07] Sorta. Comfort instead of being lectured is good. But more so, I think people just want something new too. Almost the last decade of movies from Hollywood has been reboots/remakes that lecture us on how we're bad people. People are desperate for *new* & simply entertaining movies. I think/feel/hope we're going to, overall, return to those kind of movies that were popular during the 80s & 90s. With the occasional message driven or deep plot film.
Marvel, DC copied a lot from indian mythology, history and created a universe. So creating a cinematic universe based on original source is actually more relevant and justifiable.
@@phoenixj1299 a lot? I can only see Dr. Strange being inspired from Hinduism. What else is there that is copied?
No....
@@adityan3208 Thor. Asgard took inspiration from Svarg, Vision character, multiverse concept, mjolnir/Vajra, jormugandr/vritr, captain America/demi gods from Hindu mythology, Aquaman/Shiva etc. When it comes to Marvel comics the inspiration on the nose. They literally have characters with the name Vishnu, Brahma.
@@phoenixj1299 Thor is literally a Norse God. You're crazy to think that concept came from Hinduism. Heaven isn't exclusively our concept. Multiverse Yes, although multiverse also exists in Greek mythology, so it's debatable that might be their source of inspiration. Not only that, do you know that Multiverse theory really came out of science in the last century because of the Schrodinger's cat thought experiment? Aquaman is copy of Namor, based on a Mayan God. And there's nothing wrong with Marvel representing us with Vishnu and Brahma. It's good that they used the original names without faking originality. I would advise you to stop assuming everything is copied from India and get educated. I'm not saying they don't copy, but we shouldn't be blinded by the pride for iur culture and have such an enormous bias, especially when you can literally search on the internet about the real sources of inspiration
@@adityan3208 Let me first of all say that I am not someone who says that inspiration is wrong. Thor himself is based on Indra. Thor is God of thunder, Indra is God of thunder. Thor has a hammer called Mjolnir and Indra has a mace/hammer called Vajra. Thor killed a serpent called jormugandr and saved the waters encircling the world. Indra killed vritr and saved waters encircling the earth. Heaven is not the same as Asgard or Svarg actually. Multiverse doesn't exist in Greek mythology. Both multiple universes and multiverse concepts existed in Hindu mythology. By the way multiple universes and the multiverse are not the same thing actually. Aquaman is actually inspired by Poseidon and Shiva.Again I am not someone who says inspiration is wrong at all. First you must understand the phenomenon of not giving credit to things from the mythology of a tradition that is actually practiced since it can get cancelled or have a negative remark. So many of the creators would say "i took inspiration from Greek, Norse mythology" because these religions are dead so taking inspiration from them is never a problem. Let me tell u an incident of what happens when Marvel openly shows that they took inspiration from Hindu mythology and made a tribe in Black Panther consider Hanuman as their deity. And there is a simple dialogue like "Glory to Hanuman". Even that got cancelled and censored in India. So imagine opening up about huge inspiration from Hindu mythology. That would be bad for business especially since India has the highest population. They don't have to risk the largest market.
This was a great movie. Second half is very good. Dont think this movie is for western audiences. But you should give it a try.
This movie is better than RRR
No way dude
@@adityan3208 Yes way dude
@@phoenixj1299 RRR is tightly edited. No scene wasted. Tone is so consistent. Action is better shot. Better fight choreography. This movie is good, but RRR is something else. Kalki movie is good because of our ancient stories, and tbf there are good concepts shown here, but it wasted too much runtime at the start. Prabhas's character's scenes weren't great, badly written long stretch of conversations in the first half. Last half is great. But RRR is great from start to finish. No competition. And the biggest problem with Kalki is that we don't get attached to any characters like we do in RRR.
They are 2 different movies with great stories please don't compare
@@adityan3208 RRR IS GOOD but also overrated and over appreciated a little too much
I loved the movie as well
Watch 'animal' form last year it's pretty decent
Yup but libs and woke hate it....
I kinda think it is overrated. But it's definitely not bad.
@@vivekkparashar6369 Eh it was full of plot holes
What’s the sequel called, Zero Dawn
It's a great movie but with a slow burn which if fine and keeps you interested as you follow the different story lines..Its very good and I look forward to the next chapters..Go and see it!
